Intro: Keep It Simple
When I started learning SEO, most guides overwhelmed me with tools, technical jargon, and endless steps. I just wanted to get traffic to my content without needing to be an expert or buy fancy tools.
Over time, I discovered one simple SEO strategy that worked. I still use it today.
It’s free. It’s easy. And it’s perfect if you’re just starting.
Here’s the Strategy:
“Write for one specific question. Then answer it better than anyone else.”
Sounds basic, right? But it works because Google loves clarity.
Step-by-Step Breakdown
1. Start with a real question people are asking
Don’t guess. Use free tools like:
- Google’s “People also ask” section
- AlsoAsked.com
- AnswerThePublic
- Reddit or Quora threads
Example:
Let’s say you’re in skincare. A real question might be:
“Can I use sunscreen at night?”
That’s a blog title right there.
2. Make the answer simple, clear, and useful
Forget long intros or overexplaining. Start with the answer upfront.
Example opening line:
“No, you don’t need to use sunscreen at night. Here’s why and when to make an exception.”
Then break it down in short paragraphs, bold important points, and maybe add a simple list.
3. Use the exact question in your title + URL
For example:
Title: Can You Use Sunscreen at Night? (What Experts Say)
Slug: yourdomain.com/sunscreen-at-night
Google reads that and knows exactly what your blog is about.
4. Add 1 good image + internal links
- Use a clean image with alt text: “using sunscreen at night”
- Link to another blog on your site (if possible) to build internal SEO
5. Share it smartly
After you publish, share it on:
- WhatsApp groups (yes, they work!)
- Instagram Stories with a curious? CTA
- LinkedIn with a personal note like:
“SEO used to scare me. Now I keep it simple. This one strategy still works for me…”
Why This Works
This strategy does 3 things:
- Targets long-tail keywords (easier to rank)
- Matches Google’s goal: Give people helpful answers
- Feels human, not robotic so people stay longer on your page
Real Result (Optional Add-on if you’ve done this)
“One of my most-viewed blogs is literally just me answering a single question clearly. No fancy tricks. Just clarity and value.”
Final Tip
Don’t overthink SEO in the beginning.
Instead of chasing traffic, focus on helping one person per blog.
That’s how search engines and real humans start trusting you.
